1. If your Mercedes-Benz car is NOT equipped with the factory external BOSE audio system, this aftermarket head unit will be a direct plug-and-play replacement.
2. If your Mercedes-Benz car has the factory external BOSE audio system, this aftermarket head unit will be a direct plug-and-play replacement. But you also need the D2B Fiber Optic adapter for Mercedes-Benz. The adapter is optional. Please add it from the drop-box. It remains the original BOSE audio system. ALL car speakers work as before.
